Cookie policy for the Slotlair information pages

This page explains what our site stores on your device, why we store it and what you can do about it. We are cmbie.co.uk, an independent information portal covering the Slotlair brand, and the pages you read here are written and maintained by our own editorial team. Our aim is to explain the mechanics in plain terms rather than hide them behind a wall of legal wording. If you would rather start with the essentials, our Slotlair homepage sets out the offer, games, payments and withdrawal terms we cover.
How this site remembers you
Cookies are small text files that a website asks your browser to store. Most of them are there to make a page work; others record how you move around it so we can see which pages are useful. Slotlair reviews on this site are free to read and we do not ask you to create an account with us, so the amount we rely on is deliberately small.
| Type | What it does | Typical lifespan |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Keeps the site functional and remembers choices such as your cookie consent preference. | Session or up to a year |
| Analytics | Records page views and general usage so we know which articles readers actually read. | Up to two years |
| Marketing | Supports promotional campaigns and measures whether they bring new visitors. | Up to 90 days |
| Preference | Remembers display choices such as language or layout between visits. | Up to a year |
Analytics cookies are only set after you agree to them through the consent banner. If you decline, the site still works and you lose nothing beyond the usage data we would have collected.
The analytics question
Knowing which pages perform well is how we decide what to write next. We look at aggregate figures – how many people opened a given article, which country they came from, and whether they reached the end – rather than following individual readers around the web. Our own editorial reading of the Slotlair casino offer is not shared with advertisers, and we do not sell visitor data to anyone.
Worth remembering: aggregate is the key word. Reports are built from grouped numbers, so a report on our sports betting coverage tells us that 400 readers opened that page, not who they were or what they did next.
Scripts we do not control
Some pages carry embedded content loaded from other providers, such as video, images or interactive widgets. When that content arrives, the provider's own scripts can set cookies in your browser, and their handling of those files falls under their privacy policies rather than ours. We choose providers carefully and limit how many we embed, but we cannot govern what runs once a third-party script is on the page.
If you follow a link from our pages to the operator's own platform, you leave cmbie.co.uk entirely. Any cookies set from that point on are placed by the operator and are handled under its own rules, which we do not set or change.
Your options
You have the final say. Every major browser lets you review, block or delete cookies through its settings, and clearing them does not damage the article you were reading – you may simply see the consent banner again next time.
- Chrome – the three-dot menu, then Privacy and security, then Third-party cookies
- Firefox – the shield icon in the address bar opens the cookie panel
- Safari – Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Manage Website Data
- Edge – the Settings gear, then Privacy, search and services
You can also withdraw or change your consent at any time by clearing the banner preference in your cookie settings, or by writing to us at [email protected] and asking us to reset it. Note that blocking storage entirely can slow the site down slightly, as some page components have to reload each time.
Revisions
We update this policy whenever our setup changes, and the date below always reflects the current version. Material changes are noted on the page rather than applied silently in the background.
